轮胎噪声来自泵气效应和轮胎振动。所谓泵气效应,就是指轮胎高速滚动时引起的轮胎变形, 使得轮胎花纹与路面之间的空气受到压挤,随着轮胎的滚动,空气又在轮胎离开接触地面时被释放,经过这样连续的“压挤释放”,空气就会迸发出声音,而且车速 越快声音越大,车辆越重声音越大。轮胎振动与轮胎的刚度和阻尼有关,刚度增大(例如轮胎帘布层数目增加),阻尼减小,轮胎的振动就会增大,噪声也就增大 了。为了降低轮胎的噪声可以采用很多方法,例如胎面可以采用多种花纹间距,采用高阻尼橡胶材料,调整好轮胎的动平衡以减少自激振动等。
