regarding stock short selling
 

Hi guys,

Does anyone here have experience of short selling Canadian stock through TD Water House? I am thinking about open an account with them, but I have some concerns regarding the short selling:
1, when you place a short sell order through the web broker, how long does it take to get the order go through showing a "open" status?
2, later on, can the short sell order be changed (I know it can be cancelled) online? If only change the price, will it take the same amount of time as placing a new short order? Or it will be done right away since only the price has been changed, and it has nothing to do with the inventory.
