我在多伦多,这里的大学和学院好象没有这个专业啊,那我们这些银来了能做什么?看到有WASTE WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR,我们能去做么?

多伦多不知道，但在阿省WASTE WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR需要有相应的证书，而且只有NAIT才有这个专业培训这个证书。

Drinking Water & Waste Water Treatment

想换个相关的专业读COLLEGE，大家觉得什么专业好一些？CIVIL？MUNICIPAL？CONSTRUCTION？ENVIROMENT？

centennial college有个Environmental Engineering专业，我看过招生简介，好像有原来专业背景只要上8个月就够了，之后是给payment的coop。你上学校网站查查。

现在的关键是这个行业的前景如何?拿到学院文凭没有加拿大经验的就就业机会吗?

I just know after 8 months study, then the student will get one year paid coop. I think after that, it will be easier to get a job, because you have canadian experience.

再请教一下：申请OCAS后需要把大学的毕业证、transcripts寄过去吗?transcripts应该指的是中学的吧，如果没有是不是不寄也可以？

Sorry, cannot input Chinese after my computer upgrade.
I have to use my poor English, hope to be understood.

For our major, quite different from China:

1. indoor给排水: plumbing, drainage and fire protection belong to mechanical engineering, more easier for HVAC major.

2. industrial water treatment belong to mechanical engineering, too.

3. outdoor underground piping, together with road, cut/fill, belong to civil/municipal engineering, more easier for our major.

4. water & wastewater treatment, I mean process, filtration, sedimentation…
three majors work in this filed: our major, environmental engineering and chemical engineering.

Seems closer to No. 3, 4

For municipal engineering, except underground piping, road, cut/fill, still have:
water resources, storm water management, pumping station, etc.
