先介绍一下我的车。
1999年Camry LE V6 3.0 全自动带天窗，目前18万5千公里。2005年在美国买的（17万公里），包税$7000美元。

目前车况良好，什么问题也没有。

将来如果有问题，希望放在这里和网友们一起讨论。

虽然目前我的Camry不错，不过明年如果要换多伦多那部Nissan Sentra时，不考虑Camry。目前目标是Honda Accord V6。

2003 CAMRY V6 3.0.


百公里综合油耗10L.目前尚未修理过(正常维护除外).

Camry的Timing Belt
 

有个问题问问经历过的朋友。

Camry的Timing Belt好象10万公里要换一条。我的Camry的前任车主在10万5千公里时换过Timing Belt。现在我的车是18万5千公里。这样我再开2万公里就要换Timing Belt。不过好象又有听说10万公里换一次Timing Belt是比较保守的。

我的问题是你们的Camry的Timing Belt实际是多少公里换的？

my 1989 camry changed timing belt at 250,000 in 2004. I know the first time that car changed timing belt at 103,000 in1993.


I don't know when my 1996 (255,000)camry changed timing belt, but I will chang it over 300,000

1989 I4 2.0, 20% local, 80% express <8L/100km

1996 v6 3.0 20% local, 80% express <9.5L/100km

正常情况camry要求多少里程更换timing belt？到30万之前会不会断啊？:rolleyes1:

I think the 1996 has changed timing belt once at least. but I can't find any stick on the cover of the time belt.

according toyota, the time belt shoud change timing belt every 100,000km. some people take risk to 150,000. it depends.

I don't want to change the timing belt for the 1996. there are couple of reasons,

1 when I changed timing belt for 1989, the mechanic has done a terrible job for may car. he used a torch to take the main pully out. after couple of monthes, the pully falled to two parts out of my car. fortunately, when it is happening, the car just start in a parking lot.
so, I think the car is destroyed by mechanic sometimes. we shoud go to see mechanic as less as possible.

2 the timing belt I have changed out of may 1989 camry. It has taken 150,000km & 11years. and everything looks ok.

3 what I heard someone told me that if the timing belt fall, the worst result is the will lost power, need to be towed to garage to change the timing belt. (not 100% sure about this point, somebody says the whole engine will be destroyed)

这位billy71p朋友胆子确实大。89年的车第二条Timing Belt 15万公里换的，96这车居然要撑20万公里再换。

不过10万公里可能会比较保守，我看看车友的情况，估计13～14万公里换一条把。

Camry的Timing Belt如果万一行驶时断掉，会不会把发动机打坏呀？

省钱不是这样，camry的机应该是interference类型吧，就算神车，断了可划不来
