必备装备：

1> 2 breakfast, 3 lunchs, 2 dinners & snacks 及煮食工具，炉头／气自带.
2> 2升水

4> quick dry base layer 和 多套御寒保暖衣服(e.g. fleece/down jacket)
5> 防雨防风外套
6> 帐蓬, 睡袋，睡垫
7> 头灯/手电筒
8> backpacking背包及rain cover
9> 防晒霜,墨鏡,雪地的紫外线反射很厉害
10>Gaiters,防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏
11>哨子

一些注意事项：

需要CARPOOL的朋友准备两双鞋（一双是登山鞋），在开始Hiking前和结束后，换上干净的鞋，这样省去车主打扫车内卫生，谢谢！还可以再准备一双备用的袜子。爬完山，能让脚舒服一下也是种享受 .

手套很有用，保暖防寒，要防水／快干的。(如果没有防水／快干手套也可带个二三双羊毛手套湿了替换用)！

因为可以住hut，所以比day hiking多不了太多东西，主要是食物和cooking的餐具。我会带帐篷。这个trail难度不小，单程爬高1100多米，负重35磅左右。

计划周五7点的ferry，你有问题么？

7am or 7pm? I have to try to apply vacation for 18th friday if you mean 7am. and i am not sure if i can get that dayoff.

i have planned go to burchat gardens this saturday. we could go somewhere in sunday for a short trip.

Check this out guys. Wedgemont lake is one of 5 accessible points in Garibaldi provincial park. i don't think you guys can do both(garibaldi lake and wedgemont lake) within a day.

Thanks for reminding. I'm not going to Garibaldi Lake, but only Wedgemount Lake in Garibaldi Park. Not putting Wedgemount Lake in the title just because far less people know the name. I've been hiking those area lots of times. :lol:

BTW. You need to have sleeping bag and pad at least even without tent. Better not the ones for car camping as you'll carry them for 1000+m elevation gain.

i didn't find garibaldi lake on your map...............

Not that difficult. Coastal Mountains are as great as Rocky Mountains but within day hiking / overnight range. You'll love it.

Wedgemount Lake is my summer favorite of Coastal Mountains. As beautiful as (if not better than) most lakes in Rocky Mountains. It's far remote, usually less than 10 people around the lake even for summer weekends... :heart:
