I really am moved by your story. Nothing is fair in this world, especially when you are in a new and strange world with different cultures and customes. I suggest that you need to make a plan and have a discussion with your wife about how and what you are planning to achieve in Canada. FIRST OF ALL, how are you going to do with the morgage? You need to pay it off every month. Second, can you go back to school to get furthur education? even a part time wiil be helpful. Before you find a new job, never quit the old job unless you really have to. From now on, open your eye wide and see if you can do sth by yourself or find sth else. Do not hang on one tree, try anthing possible. It will spark if you are a real gold.
Try harder and you will reap what you sow.
Remember: Love wll cure everything but it will not bring the bread to your table. You two are a very nice couple and I sincerely hope you will tidy it over soon.
