我去年找到一份小公司的助理工程师的工作。当时刚好我儿子出生，我就申请的父母假，没有申请ei就到另一个公司上班了。新工作只有一个优点：一年后可申请p.eng. 工资低（比原工作每小时少4块钱），私人小公司，不正规。我原公司时有工会的大公司。目前还没有LAYOFF，工作轻松，就是当一辈子工人不太甘心，怎么着国内还读过硕士，面子上过不去。昨天我的一个朋友跟我说我这样有可能有法律问题。就是parent leave 期间不能干另外一份全职工作。我在网上查了一下，还是不清楚。请有经验的朋友解释一下。我怎样做才能损害最小（保留哪个工作都可以）。下面是我 查到的一点规定（Employment Standards Act, 2000）。似乎我如果想辞去原工作只能等到上班后在提出辞职了。

Employee not returning
(4) An employee who takes parental leave shall not terminate his or her employment before the leave expires or when it expires without giving the employer at least four weeks’ written notice of the termination. 2000, c. 41, s. 49 (4).
Exception
(5) Subsection (4) does not apply if the employer constructively dismisses the employee. 2000, c. 41, s. 49 (5).
