The previous owner will never allow you to run the lotto terminal under his account. It is prohibited by OLG policy and AGCO rules.
OLG usually needs two weeks to process the application. It has no problem for AGCO. AGCO always issue the licence on the afternoon of the cloing date. It sends a preappoval letter to OLG on that day's morning so that OLG can legally to open the lotto terminal for you.
The real problem is your appointment with OLG agent. The new policy requires the OLG agent to train you directly in your store before OLG to open the terminal.
My suggestion:
1. Check with OLG your agent schedule. Decide the closing date when the agent is availabe.
2. It has been misunderstood for many years that the cloinng date has to be Mon or Thu. That is completely wrong. OLG accepts any date for closing.
