Extrusion Die and Mold Developer
$45,000 - $50,000
Our client seek an Extrusion Die and Mold Developer to join their Production Services Team.
This is an immediate opening which is responsible for development of: ideas for extrusion dies/splicing molds and the necessary tooling required for specific product and applications. You will also help with design of new extrusion dies and splicing molds using AutoCAD, as well be re responsible for construction, testing/trialing and modification of dies. You will work closely with the Project engineer and the machinists, and interact daily with the Plant Manager, Plant Engineer, Department Supervisors and plant staff.
Qualfiications:
- 1 - 3 years experience in deie design for rubber or plastic extrusion
- knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventory (or Solidworks)
- hands on experience using carious rools and equipment found in a machine shop
- familiar with wire EDM and CNC Milling machines and techniques
