Termination of tenancy by a tenant

For those situations where a tenant must give his or her landlord a notice to terminate, the tenant must use the Tenant’s Notice to Terminate the Tenancy (Form N9). This form can be found in the Forms & Publications section of our website

There are rules that a landlord must follow when dealing with a tenant's property left in the rental unit or complex after the tenant has moved out. These rules are found in section 42 of the Act.
