Please be advised that we have received your IELTS result and your case will be put in queue for review. However, you are hereby informed of the new ministerial decisions relating to the skilled worker category as follows:
On September 18, 2003, a Ministerial decision pertaining to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) was announced and this decision may affect your application for immigration to Canada. New measures were proposed for assessing certain economic class applicants who applied under the former Immigration Act (before January 1, 2002) but were affected by transitional measures following implementation of IRPA on June 28, 2002.
Please note that at this time, the proposed Ministerial changes are not yet approved. As this is a regulatory change, it will take some time before these changes become law. In the meantime, we may correspond to you seeking further information and/or documents. This will allow us to be better prepared to make decisions when we can legally do so.
