residential + commercial electrical experience is very important to apply for an entry level designer,drafter,technologist position, moreover you should be familiar with local electrical code ,building code,fire code,lightning protection ,grounding system design, lighting design,power panel,cable tray, etc

project management experience, good language skills is also neccessary. as to salary range , it is not important for senior positions as long as the candidate is qualified ,and his/her expectation is in reasonable range and budget |

I worked as designer in Toronto and on the way to P. Eng. I may move to Calgary in a couples of months and want to know salary range as intermediate engineer in Calgary for building service, not oil/gas. Because salary in Calgary is higher than Toronto, I'm not sure what the right salary is in Calgary. I'd really appreciate if you could give me some hints. Thanks in advance! |
