大家都用什么软件将.avi格式的影音文件

转换成DVD格式的，然后用burner刻录后在dvd player上放的，我试了好几种软件，但有的只能让我转换1分钟的电影，有的在结束后出现了程序错误，真急人啊。买了刻录机想刻录网上下载的东西，却一时刻录不了。

想在电脑上播放的话，就去网站下载一个视频和音频的解码器，然后安装，就可以用media player 等播放器来播放了。
我倒好，没人回答我的问题，我成了自呻网友了。

但是我从网上下载的.avi文件在　dvd player上放不了啊。
我不转又有什么办法呀？只能在电脑上看，我下载的是200来集的一个tv show啊。

WinAVI is good for convert all the video formats directly to DVD video files.

Is that a regular avi file or divx, xvid, vp6? You need find that out first. Different utilities are good for different avi files.

To DVD Mepg2, you can use TMPGEnc Xpress

Also be aware of the format that your DVD player uses.

1、你是如何区别是.avi文件还是.divx或者。xvid,vp6格式的，你是怎么一下就识别出来他们的，我查遍了源文件的网站，也没发现哪？

2、原影音文件上的英文字幕在转换时，需不需要进行特殊处理？怎么处理的？

1. Use Gspot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ to detect the video format.
2. Subtitle need to be converted to DVD format otherwise it will merged with video and you can't switch it off. Check here for tools to convert it http://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=24#24

转换成video_ts.bup及video_ts.ifo 等文件后，烧盘后却在dvd player上播放不了，非dvd player支持的文件。制式为NTSC。不知为何?

First, try to play it on the computer with a DVD player. If you are able to watch it, it means you use the wrong format, which is not support by your DVD player. If you can't even play on the PC, something wrong with the converting. ( I am not sure for this).

BTW:
Which format you use, DL, +/- R/RW?
What is your DVD player brand, model?

1、您真料事如神，我能在电脑上放了，肯定是格式错了。但我怎么知道我该用什么格式？不该用什么格式呢？我用的应该是dvd-R.,因为我在电视屏幕上看到的字样是
dvd-R, not supported files found.
2、我的dvd player是最便宜的那种，中国产的，wal-mart卖的cyberHOME, 48刀。当时觉得便宜，而且国内带的所有碟子都能放就买了。可别告诉我说这个东西放不了我下载的那个东东啊。

my dvd player can play the discs:
dvd-video,dvd-r/rw,dvd+r/rw,Audio cd,svcd,vcd,cd-r&cd-rw
playable formats:
dvd-video,svcd,vcd,mp3,jpeg
是否这就说明我的播放器肯定播放不了啦？？？

find the exactly mode of your DVD player.

Or you can burn another copy again with DVD + format. I don't have experience with your DVd player.

我在国内曾研究过用CDROM WRITER做假DVD（即DVD图象，CD储存），对各种DVDPLAYER都有不同反应。现在好了，有DVD WRITER了，做DVD简单。用DVDIT就肯定行。用VIDIO STUDIO编辑也很容易用。DVD有个数据流的概念，在VCD是固定的，DVD可变，按要求就行。

可否将二位的email留下？我确实很急，眼瞧着硬盘快满了，不转真的不行了，只能电话或者email请教了，如有必要的话您觉得。马上要忙了，以后还真没时间来鼓弄这玩意了。
