关于EI补贴

今天公司人事经理和Supervisor(中国人)找我谈话,给我一份通知,告知我将于三周后的今天是我最后一天在公司上班,就被LAY了.
想请教的是:我在公司干了将近四年,我连一年补贴一周的钱都拿不到了,我有什么办法拿到这个一年补贴一周的钱呢?

一年补贴一周的钱是啥？

这笔钱是不是公司所有被LAYOFF的人都能拿到尼？还是要有什么条件？
这是安省劳工部上写的：

Who qualifies to receive severance pay?

An employee qualifies for severance pay when his or her employment is severed and he or she:

* has worked for the employer for five or more years (including all time spent by the employee in employment with the employer, whether continuous or not and whether active or not)

and
* was employed by an employer who

o has a payroll in Ontario of at least $2.5 million

or
o severed the employment of 50 or more employees in a six-month period because all or part of the business was permanently discontinued.

这个到不要紧，关键你要落实如果是开除你就没有这笔钱
当然，你也就拿不到EI，反过来你拿到补偿，政府的ei
还是不考虑你的补偿数（可以重复拿）
我经历过几次，一般都是公司继续付工资1-2周但不得
在公司里工作，补偿是另外一笔钱（有多有少）
