Interesting this post got pushed up again.

I still believe 1000 DOW drop in one day is possible. Wall street firms are using computers to trade, famous (or infamous) Goverment Sachs is the biggest player. The trading programs are using similar algorithm. When crisis hits, all these computers will suddenly sell everything in mini seconds. 1987 mini crash was a good example, only today's trading programs are a lot more powerful and popular.

When that happens, doesn't matter if you have stop orders, how carefully you monitor the market, you are screwed, and wiped out. Many people will lose their entire life saving.

Just imagine what would happen N. Korea attacks S. Korea? Obama gets assassinated? In normal times, it may not cause significant impact, in today's situation, it can make everyone panic.

Folks, when disaster strikes, you have no time to run.

要注意股市什麼短、中、長線的說法的真實含義。

現在以俺的水平，只能認識到六個月或以上算長線，對短、中線的認識還很模糊，但對一天可以做幾個來回就算短是很清楚的，看來真正能獲益的就是不好認識的這短、中腺之間的那段時間，再研究哈。
