花园设计 - Nathan的后院
今年夏天,有幸到Nathan家做客。幽静的后院,树荫浓密。天然的斜坡,令人无限遐想。 和大家分享一下花园设计。 设计细节如下。如果有对英文“不适应”的,我再翻译吧。 Assessment ·Backyard is south-east facing. ·50’ by 50’. ·Matured deciduous trees surrounded. 60-70% with dappled shade. ·The backyard slopes downward away from the house. ·Only a few plants other than lawn. Proportion of the Garden Garden will be divided into three areas, ·New stone paved patio for dining ·Woodland garden under trees ·Sunny garden with flowering plants Principle Plan ·Patio area surrounded by flowering herbaceous plants and potted plants. It’s big enough for 6 people having diner, or BBQ. ·Woodland area filled with shade loving and shade tolerant plants. Bulbs flowering in Spring and different color of plants thriving in Summer through early Fall. ·Sunny area has more space for lawn. Surrounded by long blooming perennials. Elements in the Garden ·Patio – dining ·Broad Steps – connect to woodland garden area ·Pergola – major four season focal point in the garden, shady path underneath, climbing plants; dividing garden areas ·Double Timber Bench – rest/reading/private conversation in woodland garden ·Single Stone Bench – rest in the middle of the garden; watching through pergola ·Curving Path – introducing curiosity in small garden in woodland garden area ·Trellis – adding privacy in patio area; climbing plants ·Deck – existing Four Season Garden ·Garden Elements ·Selected Plants ·Spring oSpring flowering bulbs can be freely added to the woodland garden area oVirginia Blue Bells and some other Spring flowering herbaceous perennials oRhododendrons and Fothergilla Spring flowering shrubs ·Summer oA lot of summer flowering herbaceous perennials oVariegated leaf colors in woodland garden area ·Fall oExisting Sugar Maple and Fothergilla leaves change to red/yellow/orange color oJapanese Anemone, Sedum ‘Autumn Joy’ and some other herbaceous perennials flowering in the Fall ·Winter: oEvergreen Rhododendrons oDecorative Grasses – e.g. Bamboos, Miscanthus sinensis, Sedums, etc. oRosa ‘4th or July’ seed head oOther herbaceous perennials which not flopping in winter |

两个花圃之间连接的花架很有点意思,是整个花园的中心视点,要是能爬点紫藤葡萄之类的就更好了。 没看到patio,不知道功能性如何。 对我个人来说,感觉在花草整体规划,特别是高矮和texture的变化上可以更谐调统一些,花稍微多了些。我个人更喜欢各类灌木。 很佩服Nathan,真专业呀。感觉Nathan比较喜爱传统的东西,这个格局布置象四合院似的。 |

Pergola下建议种爬藤玫瑰(4th of July),紫藤也是很好的选择(送他的两棵长得挺好)。花的种类有点多(a bit busy),其实是我的喜好,希望Nathan能接受。Patio在西北角,借着树荫,紧挨房子,方便聚餐bbq之类的。由于软件的限制,没画好,也就没有放到重点(其实是最花钱的地方)。 说到花草的搭配,我更觉得颜色最重要,颜色的不同,才能更好的体现texture/shape/form。而颜色,主要来自叶子,因为perennial的花期都不会很长,特别是树荫下。 主题太多了,找时间分块切磋。 非常感谢你的评语! |
