今晚不幸被别人追尾了
今晚不幸被别人追尾了。车后面的bumper给撞裂了。我们互换了个人信息。请问接下来要怎么做? 他不想走保险,要带我去他认识的body shop修。我说可以,但我想先自己找人估价先。明天再电话联系。 请问这样还要去‘报案中心” 登记吗?如果全私了。好像记得有人说过要24小时还是48小时内报案什么的。 要是我自己去估价后,给他打电话,是让他来付钱?还是要去他那里再估价一次?还是我先修好后,直接问他要钱?还是一定要去他指定的地方修? 有人有经验吗? 此帖于 Dec 27th, 2012 02:51 被 深蓝的海 编辑。 |

Fail To Report Accident Fail To Report Accident If you are involved in an accident in Ontario with your motor vehicle, the law requires you to report the accident to the nearest police if the damage amount goes beyond one thousand dollars. It is not always necessary that you collide with another car, you might collide with anything roadside and it’s a damage to the highway property. Collision with every living and non-living beings should be reported within 24 hours to the police. Here is what the law has to say: HTA 199. Every person in charge of a motor vehicle who is directly or indirectly involved in an accident shall, if the accident results in personal injuries (even a cut on a finger) or in damage to property apparently exceeding an amount prescribed by regulation (which is $1000), report the accident forthwith to the nearest police officer and furnish him or her with the information concerning the accident as may be required by the officer under subsection. HTA 201 Every person who, as a result of an accident or otherwise, operates or drives a vehicle upon a highway and thereby damages any shrub, tree, pole, light, sign, sod or other property on the highway or a fence bordering the highway shall forthwith report the damage to a police officer Penalties involved when you fail to report: If you are involved in an accident and fail to report the same to the police you might have to bear the following penalties: 3 demerit points A fine of $110 |
