本人出了一次意外，车子打滑冲出路面，撞在树上，毁了，因为三保，保险公司不cover，但有路过的司机替我报了警，当时我傻了，不知怎么办。现在我又买了另一辆车，TD保险公司以出过事故要涨我的保险，原来三保CAD170/月，现在要CAD360/月，我该怎么办？急！请好心的大家帮我出出主意！谢谢了！

Be positive, luckily you are not injured and it’s maybe a appropriate lesson to save your life in future driving; life is more important than money; you are not cautious enough when driving on poor road condition;

BTW, if you want, you can ask them increase your deductible in order to decrease your premier quote; but that means you should drive more carefully;

In Ontario, Car accidents kill 5 times more people than gun shots;

涨钱和赔钱是两回事。 有的人赔了很多钱，保险也不涨。
保险公司认为你不是一个安全的驾驶者所以给你涨钱。 看看你是否能用你老婆的保险开车。

Did you get any ticket from Police; I don't think they will give you one if it is on bad whether;

But if they give you one, please go to court; option 3; and fight for it;
And last, ****ing insurance; You claim nothing why they still double your primum;

Try to fight and worse scenaio, call them and ask them to increase your deductable; (anyway, they just suck your money and useless unless you have a big accident, the point here is, anyway less than 3000$ your fault accident don't call them, due to they will for sure charge you back in next few years, why not increase deductable and pay them only cover the big accident )


I am not sure why you let insurance know this; cause even though Police give you a careless drive and 6 points ticket, you still can go to court and try to reduce it; they (police) will not contact your insurance unless you called them;

continue my point;
It's is winnter time and this year is really terrible in terms of whether; last few days -15 and today +3 with ice rain;

even if you get the ticket from Police, you difinitely go to court fight for it; you can use following nature reasons to get rid of point;

1) Tough road condition;
explain to judge that even though you follow the rule and even slow then the speed sigh limit, but you still slid out due to unpredictable whether condition;

2) Due to only yourself involoved in the accident, you can use reasons like:
a) suddenly, my car just stalled and totally lost of power, in that condition, nobody can do better than me;
b) suddenly, I lost control of my car even though I drive very carefully or I lose all the brake ability somehow I lost control

emphsize on tough road condition and unpredicatables and out of a human being ability to control it;

And usually, you will be on court at least half year later then the time you got the ticket; And no police can clearly recall who are you and especially that day's whether condition;

for example, can you remember that is Auguest 14th, 2005 raining or not?
If any police officer or any human being can clearly remember this, I should kill myself; especailly he/she deal with hundreds of people in one day;

Next time, do not call insurance before you clear your mind;

One of my friend had a accident, his issurance company told him if they pay that bill, his issurance will be increased in the following 3 years. Following your suggestion, can he just transfer his auto issurance under his wife so that the issurance can stay in the same level.

保险公司就是强盗，我搬个家改个地址，才几分钟路远，加我74一个月

yes. but the condition is u r not the second driver on your wife's policy. that means you can not drive the car for over 50% ( depends on the company) of the total time.
btw. it wont hurt if you use ur wife's info to get a quota just for comparation.
and call as many company as you can.
