我是看到消息之后三天就已经登陆了。

My online e-status service shows "medical results received", does that mean PPR will be received soon? I had my medical exam in Dec 2004, and X-ray in April 2005.

Thanks, how long did you wait for ppr since your e-status show "medical results received"? It is more than 5 months now for me since my medical exam in April.

学生签证到期前一个月如果要换成旅游签证(书读完了，不想再付钱拿信续学生身份了)，是申请visitor visa or temperately resident visa? 我记得挺多前辈也都碰到这种瓶颈，后来都是有申请过的，能否分享一下经验(本人没配偶)。这种签证可以申请多次往返吗谢谢xdjm 们！

is temporary resident visa the same as visitor visa? it's both valid for 6 months as far as i know, the problem is that if you are holding a visitor visa and want to apply for study permit or work permit, you have to apply through buffalo as oppsed to Alberta. The main issue here is that you have to be very certain that your immigration will be finalized within 6 months.

我书读完了,但是学生签证还有两年多,是不是我即使不注册,在这两年多里我出入加拿大也是合法的吗?

那temporary resident visa 可以多次出入境吗？我是不想在以学生签证耗下去了，都读完硕士了，还读什么。。。什么都是钱丫。到时换成游客身份如果case还是没消息，就只能回家等了。真的挺烦人的。。。路漫漫其修远兮。。。

应该是可以在这待着，但是到时如果到期了，需要成绩单去续签的，如果没成绩单，就麻烦了。

I sent buffalo a letter to ask them my status. they replied that just as the first letter I received in January 2005. And they said in this letter they still process the files of 36 weeks ago. but they had already processed the files of 36 weeks ago when I received my first letter almost 9 month ago!!!!

I can understand this. and they mailed this letter to my old address (where I moved away 5 months ago and changed my address right away after I moved on the internet), how could this happen?

temporary resident visa is not a re-entry visa, it's more like another permit called temporary resident permit, you have to apply for re-entry visa at buffalo if you want to travel abroad(except US).

谢谢benben96, 照这么看来，还是学生签证比较方便的,只是要花钱买信：(真的会被他们逼上绝路。

其实,应该是还有学校不用交学费就给你通知书的，但是如果你拿那个去申请移民,再补材料的话就会比较麻烦一点. 除非你的移民很快就可以下来了, 只是差4,5个月的话,那应该还是可以的,否则会很麻烦. hope this helps

哪个学校不要交费的？现在的学校都很精的。如果你知道有这种学校，请告诉我。我已经等了19个月了，也算是后期了。只是想延期签证后，就回国等。万一还想来加拿大，还能入境。

呵呵，我在某所大学读书几年学位拿了两个，不管录取的时候本人在中国还是在加拿大，从来都是先给通知书，然后人入学后再说学费，连什么押金都没有。

好学校或者大学校不差这点钱，如果它们觉得你是块料录取了你的话，不会为钱的事情难为学生。倒是些主要靠学费生存的学校，对这个特别在意。

你怎么修改你的地址的？你不能在cic的网站上修改，你必须发传真或者写信给buffalo去
修改你地址。只有在加拿大境内处理的case才能在cic的网站上修改。
