我准备8月到美国读书后马上申请加拿大移民，以我老公主申。

想问几个问题：

1. 我们两个国内的毕业证书是否需要清华认证？

2. Buffalo需要指纹卡，我们在美国外的地方做指纹卡是否可以？

3. 我老公如果只是持有F2签证，没有登陆美国，是否可以递Buffalo？

上次在哪儿看见过说可以在RCMP上查指纹check的进度，但是现在怎么都找不到相关信息了，请问大家应该怎么查呀？谢谢！

比较郁闷，去年6月做了体检，眼看都快一年了，却一直都没再收到过移民局的信。要了个CAIPS报告来看，发现移民官在去年9月最后一次看我们的文件之后，直接把下次提档时间延后一年，下次提档时间居然是今年9月底！那样的话，体检铁定过期了。发email问过移民局，回信说是在等其他政府部门回馈的information. 如果说是背景调查的话，但是在CAIPS的timeline上并没有说在进行背景调查，比如说“electronically sent" 之类的东西（但是背景检查的decision一栏也是空的）。很困惑。
后来我再看了看CAIPS报告，发现两处可疑：
（1）2006年2月RCMP NAME CHECK SENT之后，好像一直都没有收到NAME CHECK的results. 而其他朋友都是在sent之后几天，紧接着就是name check results received. 大家说说，是不是RCMP把我们的NAME CHECK给miss掉了呀？？RCMP已经忘掉了，移民局也不再发request，那岂不是永远都等不到结果了？？有不有什么办法可想？
（2）去年6月有一条："INFO PENDING FOR PI, REQUIRED, THROUGH CONSULTATION. UPON RECEIPT, SEND PI INFO TO EDR FOR REVIEW." 请问大家这是什么意思呀？是不是背景调查？
请大家帮忙出出主意，看看有不有什么办法催催移民局，或者是让他们在9月底之前提出档来看看。虽然没有要求我们做指纹，我们上个月把指纹做了，请问怎么在网上查RCMP处理指纹检查的进度呢？
还有，我们没交登陆费，会不会有影响？
说了一大堆，因为实在是被移民局搞得无语了，实在不想再做一次体检。请各位XDJM帮忙看看，多支招。谢谢！！

参见 http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/crimrec/finger_faq_e.htm，那里有关于如何与RCMP查指纹检查的进度。只要你问，一般会在1个星期左右回复。good luck.

Q: How can I verify the status of my application?

A: Contact us by e-mail and provide the following information:

Your full name and date of birth
The date and the reason you sent the application
Whether the processing fee was included (if applicable)

你觉得一定是安全检查的原因吗？如果是这个的话倒还好，收到指纹鉴定就应该下来了吧。会不会是背景调查、间谍调查之类的事阻碍了进度呀？那样就麻烦了。请帮忙看看

今天终于收到移民局来信了。大家帮我看看，是到哪一步了：
We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview. While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview, should this become necessary at some future stage in processing.
You must submit the documents indicated on the enclosed "Document List" within 90 days from the date of this letter.

要求的document是Updated Certified True Copies of letter of reference from my current employer in Canada.

随信还有体检表。

来信没有要求提交RCMP clearance. 是否就不需要再提交了呢？

PPR 中是否有需要签名的地方呢?
最近需要外出,如果不需要签名的话,应该可以委托朋友代缴护照的吧?

PPR要求的照片就是枫叶卡的照片吧?

Hi,

We finished our ME in June last year. But we haven't received any letters from CIC since then. We requested a CAIPS report,and it indicates that our file will NOT be opened until September 13, 2007 (Bring Forward Date).Our ME will be expried before that date. So we are very anxious about it. What's worse, we even don't know what's wrong with it.Please have a look at our timeline and give your suggestions, Thanks!

FEB 2, 2006:
request sent this date (I guess, may be the Background Information Form sent to us, or background check start date??)
MAY 12, 2006:
Docs required: updated ltr of ref from university, T4 form, interview waived at this time pending review of requested documents
action taken: meds & interview waiver ltr sent req outstanding docs
RCMP name check sent
JUNE 14, 2006:
recd docs to add sposue to appl
med form prepped and sent
edr to review
**pending info for pI
JUNE 16, 2006:
recd all requested docs for PI
fax back form sent with spouses med form, requesting info for PI
JUNE 19, 2006:
info pending for PI, required, through consultation
upon receipt, send PI info to EDR for review.

"INFO PENDING FOR PI" are repeated for several times. CIC sent us
"Backgound information form" twice(in Feb and June) and requested the same information twice. we mailed the filled forms back. Is that because they didn't receive our forms?

OR, do you think we are under background check? Because we emailed CIC, and they responded"we have requested you information from other government offices..." Does the "INFO PENDING" mean background check? If so, who are conducting this check? Canadian or Chinese offices?

Besides, we found on the CAIPS that after RCMP NAME CHECK SENT, there wasn't any sentences indicating the results of name checks have been received. Is it possible that RCMP omitted our case?

Is there anything we can do to make the process faster, such as complaints???

Please give us some suggestions. Thanks for your kind help!
