Experience?
The normal aspirated 2.4L is lacking in acceleration. The car just won't pick up the speed fast enough. The 2L turbo is plenty fast. Huge cargo space for a small family need, nice interior, love that panoramic sunroof. Lots of leg room at the rear seat. Comfortable ride and really quiet inside the car. Lots of convenient features ... Handling is really lacking. Steering feels disconnected, especially bad in "comfort" steering mode. Having said that, it's not enough to crash the car under normal and behaved driving, unless one's driving skills really suck big time. Overall this is a very functional family car. Test drove Audi Q5 and Ford Edge as well. Q5 lacks of cargo space and rear seat leg room, especially hate the bump in the middle (to fit the drive shaft or something). Ford Edge drives like a truck. I don't hate it but people tell me to stay away from Ford. |

试过Tiguan 的turbo 和 无turbo 的区别,有点差别,但不大,这点我倒是不在意,你把油门使劲踩也一样有效,最不能忍受的是Tiguan 的隔音做得太差,老是提醒你他很痛苦很累,这点SantaFe 和 CRV 做得较好,Engine 同样的嚎叫,但声音轻很多。 现在大家都是电子Steering 吧? 不知哪家好些,我得再去试驾一下,看看反应和手感是差到不能忍受。 Q 3 的内饰,很多和 Tiguan 一样。有点惊奇。 Ford Edge 太大了,估计我的车库停不进去。 |

Anyway, both my LP and I have agreed on it and we are waiting for the delivery. I thought SF is almost the same size as Edge. Edge feels better on the steering wheel (heavier) but 3-year warranty vs. 5-year warranty? May be that explains it. |
