Photo Enforcement Locations - January 2006 In a dedicated response to traffic safety and the higher traffic and pedestrian flows, photo radar units WILL deploy in the following locations: School, playground and construction zones with in the City of Calgary. In response to the needs of Community, Photo Radar will be targeting the following communities: Hawkwood, Ranchlands and Edgemont. Photo Radar units will also be deployed throughout the City, concentrating on other high speed, high volume roadways in accordance with the Provincial Government's Photo Radar Guidelines. Red Light Cameras In a continuing effort to address the needs of the community and promote safe driving practices, the Calgary Police Service Traffic Section is pleased to announce that the Red Light Camera program has grown, incorporating 40 camera-ready intersections. These camera-ready intersections will facilitate the use of 36 Red Light Cameras on a rotating basis. Photo Radar Photo Enforcement Locations - March 01 - March 31, 2006 In response to community needs, identified through statistical analysis and citizen concerns, Calgary Police Service photo radar units will deploy in the communities of; Cougar Ridge Bridlewood Coral Springs Photo radar units will also deploy as required in; construction playground school zones and on high speed, high volume roads in the city, such as; Deerfoot Trail Macleod Trail Bow Trail in accordance with the provincial government’s photo radar guidelines.
