Many reports of missing channels on Bev 82w or getting "Scrambled" and "No Channel" messages.
Bev is changing things because of the transition from Nimiq2 to Nimiq4.

Here is a summary of what is happening with this 82w Nimiq2 Black Out:

Nimiq4 is now replacing Nimiq2 at the same orbit/degree.
No need to move the dish or change the antennae settings

Nimiq 4 is presenting two problems to the FTA boxes :

1. New sat id header ...
Receivers not able to recognize the new header from Nimiq4 might get only audio no video or Scrambled Channels.

2. Nimiq4 is capable of more conturing of the footprint than Nimiq2 ...
(Canada viewers will not be affected by this.)
Nimiq4 has tightened up the spot beam on the 82 to cover Canada only.
In US, the closer to the north you are..the better your chances will be.
Southern half of usa may be impossible to get decent signal strength.

In short,

If your location is not in the Nimiq4 footprint, you will not be able to get decent singal from 82w no matter what receiver you have.

If you are within the Nimiq4 footprint,
receivers able to recognize the new header will be wide open (SV, nfusion, Pansat,Emunation 3.0.5.1, fortec lifetime ultra..)
while the rest will be getting scrambled channels (Captiveworks, cnx, Coolsat except 8100HD..).
This explains why some receivers are still working and some are not.

A new fix should solve the problem.

Coders have not released a new fix for some reasons:
1. Maybe they want to wait till the transition is totally done with no further significant changes.
2. Maybe the problem is only affecting 82w with a minor portion of viewers, they want to wait till a total black out and fix them in one shot.
Only time will tell.

In the meantime, nothing can be done but a waiting game.

前几天TRANSFER的.

是啊,出问题了.怎么这么晚才有人上来喊

今天我的几个客户反映Galaxy 3c 95W上的CCTV4接不到了,但宏观还可以看.

问题是这样:

某些牌子的RECEIVER看不了了,有些还可以看.基本上贵的RECEIVER比如CAPTIVEWORKS看不成了,但一些普通的,便宜的RECEIVER还可以看.

目前就知道这些了,找时间去TEST,然后来报告.

目前原因不明:解决问题的办法: 换一个旧的,便宜的RECEIVER
