如果BUFFALO要求寄护照,是不是要把护照从国内寄到美国,然后再把护照寄回到中国?

最近从被使馆要求交上护照，到护照和移民签证一起给邮寄回来，需要多少天？

好像说从要求护照到拿到LANDING PAPER要的时间很短.有的人用一个月都不到就拿到了.

你就给他们发了一次传真还是发了很多次才回?在这过程中,你的E-CLIENT状态是什么呢?

个人经验:
(1) 当你的状态变为"Medical received"就表示你快要收到第3封信了。
当其他手续还没好，他们是不会更新到此状态的。意思就是，当你看到
此状态时，你的体检结果很可能早就到了。要查他们何时收到你的体检，
最可靠的就是你的医师。
(2) RCMP的处理时间是5个月左右。也有可能在2个月前后完成。如果
没有background check,这个RCMP过程是你的瓶颈。可以去e-mail或电话
查。
(3) 如果你的RCMP clearance到了之后1个月内还没有收到第3封信，
这表明something wrong. 或者background check或者missing files.
但是，如有背景调查，最终在1-2年之后拿到。

Applied: Apr 22nd, 2003
1st letter: July 03, 2003
2nd letter: Apr 5th, 2004(the date on the letter), received(Apr 23rd, 2004), ask for ME, finger print, and fill up the back ground check form(whether you work in goverment so on, i wrote "NA" for all".
3rd letter: Oct 4th, 2004(the date on the letter), received (Oct 12, 2004)

My visa officer: [ EJ 2] on first two letter, on the last one [LWH].

Some common question:

1. Work experience: I came to Canada right after my university in China, and here i am FULL-time student. Indeed, I don't have even ONE day FULL-time work experience.
I just count my TA work load (indeed only 6 hours per week), said 3 years TA to one and half year full time work experience.

2. No criminal record from China. I used the one i got before i left China( jun, 2000). I wrote a letter told them that is impossible for me to get a new one. it doesn't have any problem. i didn't back to China these years, just went to States several times

I will update if i remember other useful things

Do you think that I can wait for my passport request or more forms to be filled? I have no clue about it.

Did you see any change in your e-status?
If so, wait patient
Otherwise, I would like to suggest you to ask for a "CAIPs" to inquiry your applicaiton.
