Title: PHP Programmer

Work shift:Full time, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary: To be negotiated, based on experience

Location: 245 Fairview Mall Drive, North York

Overview:

Yesup is seeking an experienced software developer with extensive expertise in developing PHP web applications using a MySQL database system under a Linux environment. The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining our existing website properties, as well as building the logic behind new properties. A Strong knowledge of PHP for dynamic function is required. In this position, the individual will receive technical specifications that outline functionality, from which he/she will be able to work on the whole development life cycle, either individually or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and document web applications in PHP / MySQL
-Accurately meet the documented technical specifications outlined for the application
-Provide support to the internal business staff or external client on the functionality of the application
-Contribute to the direction of overall technological direction by being an active member of the staff

Requirements:

-1 year of development experience in PHP
-1 year experience in MySQL
-Must be comfortable in a Linux shell
-Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming theory
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to work independently in a group environment
-knowledge of XML
-Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills
-Ability to share ideas and interact with other developers

Education:
Bachelor in Computer Science or relevant work experience
