二《北美上空的鹰》 做为美国精神在音乐上的最佳展示，老鹰乐队堪称典范。乐队自七十年代初成立至今，聚散离合历经了三十余年的风雨历程。 乐队前后共有七名主要成员组成，这四名是1971年最初的组团成员   左起Bernie Leadon（吉它/曼陀林/班卓琴手，于1975年离开乐队）； Don Henley（打击鼓/吉它手兼主唱）； Randy Meisner（贝斯手兼主唱，于1977年离开乐队）；Glenn Frey（吉它/键盘手兼主唱）。 后续成员有Don Felder（吉它手兼主唱，1974年加入乐队，2001年被乐队除名）；Joe Walsh（吉它/键盘手兼主唱，替代Bernie Leadon于1975年加入乐队）；Timothy B.
