CMA能找到什么样的工作？难考吗？需要多长时间才考完（对没有金融和会计背景的人）？谢谢。

听说现在连国内的金融需求都饱和了，所以各位如果想回国，还是坚守或选择眼前吃香的职业吧。我很喜欢上课，尤其是金融，所以国内金融前景不好让我很懊恼，我该怎样呢？除了金融，还有商科的什么有前景且有生趣？

Impossible!
Chinese Financial Services Industry has a long long way to go to be saturated....
Think about all those financial products such as Options, Futures, Swaps and other Exotic Derivatives that are currently frequently traded in North America, Europe and Japan, Hong Kong.....
In China, even Short Sell for Equity has not been set up, not to mention the more complicated Fixed Income products.

Therefore, if you can be familiar with any of the above products, you will find opportunities in China several years later when these products enter into Chinese market.

agree..the point is that how to get cherish North American experience in Finance industry..If you have experience in North American, it is definitely not difficult to get a job in China's finance industry.

Opportunity is there, and it is not impossible for Chinese to enter into North American Financial Industry. Look at how many Chinese are working on Bay Street and Wall Street. Although the probability is still low....

If you think that you can still afford three or four years' switch time and you are energetic / interested enough to study finance, why don't you have a try? You can start from a junior position, and then it will be much easier to transfer internally.

No one can help you more than yourself in making such decisions...you've got to bear the possible failure as well as enjoy the success by yourself.

我本人还考虑到:去 Rotman 不用夫妻两地分居，也不用另外支付房租，是不是也是一个好的理由呢？

另外，本人以前背景主要IT行业市场销售管理，且兴趣不在Finance, 不过不排除将来转行做与IT相关的投资咨询工作。

hi there, i will be in Queen's 2004 too. I can tell that you prefer Rotman more. If so just go there. No need to find more reasons from Others to convince yourself. In my case, I am engineering background, technical sales, no any interest in finance, so Queen's is just what I am looking at. Small classs size and one year term are also something attractive to me.

别急。从来没听说过scotia拒绝贷款给rotman学生的事情。贷款应该是9月底的事，次序是这样：先入学 -- defer 学费 -- 9月份学校发信给scotia -- 申请贷款 -- 到手后交学费。办完了都得可能到10月了，没有人现在就把钱贷给你，不读了跑了怎么办？

到学校去一趟吧。先到student service问，他们会把你转到有关人等。

I wonder why people with strong IT or finance background only target investment banks in Bay Street. How come nobody wants to get into Risk Management or Trading Analysis with non-finacial institutions, e.g. commodity trading arms of big energy companies, like Enron (just kidding), or like Powerex? Those companies may give you a better life style (however you define it) but not necessarily less pay.
