我这段时间新买了个ＧＰＳ，试装了iGO8,Destinator,Navigon,Tomtom,Garmin Mobile XT(注意，非高档版本)。对比之后，恨不得立即将Garmin删掉。以前也曾玩过两代的Garmin，第一个是借别人的旧货去温哥华，在ChinaTown被指点着直兜圈,第二个是当时几乎最新的产品，打折少一百，花了$350，被只花了一百元买的MioC220+MioMap比下去，豪不犹豫退掉了。
比试的结果，我个人还是决定用iGO。
有趣的是，楼主说的iGO不具备的功能，我都用得好好的。唯独楼主说“iGo8提供了lane的指示功能”，我知道有，但就是试不出来。iGO里是不是叫Signpost啊？我已经打开了这项设置了呀。
我怀疑是地图的问题。但用了最新的NavTeq和TeleAtlas地图都没看到。我在Calgary，刚才特意试了Vancouver，Toronto, Ottawa，都没看到。
哪位朋友看到过的，可否说一下，是用什么地图，从什么地方到什么地方Simulation可以看得到？

非常感谢！我刚看完你回复后试了很久都没看到，令我以为Signpost就是Lane Info了。今天不死心再试了一次，结果真的看到了期待的Lane Information。我想会不会和我原来缺省设置Lane Information At The Bottom有关。但是现在无论我把设置改成Top或Bottom，车道指引都是显示在上方。我觉得这可能是个程序的Bug。

到目前为止，iGo8 fans吹捧的的很多功能都试验出来了，但其不指出目的地在路的左右的大bug依然无解..

这不是什么大ＢＵＧ，早就有人解决这个问题了，也有很多人告诉过你了。

只不过你一直对iGO抱着怀疑一切，打击一切的态度，所以不愿去找解决方法。

你去下载新的TTS Voices替换掉你content\voice下相关文件即可。见下面的链接。

这样除了邮编输地址之外，我真不知道Garmin还有什么地方胜过iGO。但iGO比Garmin强的地方还真不少。比如任意调节模拟速度，Garmin能做到吗？至少我玩过的四个Garmin,没一个能做到。

Here is my US voices TTS pack for iGo8. It has TTS voices Susan and Dave. The TTS engine is from JetMouse iGo 8.3 Release in home.disney.go.com. so this is the high quality TTS engine. The voice files are based from ladude's TTS voices way back from the igo8 demo days. Using these TTS voices, you would always get the street name announcement no matter what (no more take the next left/right without announcing the street name). Also, with the TTS pack, route always pronounced as route (not RT). Also you can use these with the newer igo r3 releases so that it announces the side of the street of the destination. I have also incorporated the "Saint" names by Nsquared. For those who are in New Jersey, Garden State Parkway would be announced correctly (not G South parkway). This pack works for both Igo8.0 and igo 8.3.

我上回下载了个叫凯立德的中国导航系统，自带中文系统，而且是ＴＴＳ的。
