1.你开户后，寄张支票给他们，经确认后，在网上你便可以看到你现在的银行和ING的帐号
2。网上转帐，转进转出都非常方便。

1. just send them a cheque of that bank you'd like to link
2.you can use telephone banking or internet banking to transfer the fund, both of them are 24H/7D .
if your money is in GIC(定期的), you must take them out of GIC from your bank, I guess that GIC rate is lower than 2.25%, if not, you should choose the higher one. another concern is that some GIC can be taken out anytime, some not. you'd better check the document of that GIC or ask your bank.

the service fee depends on the bank you are using. I know BMO normal has limited time of transactions per month, if over limited, will charge you about 0.5/time.
why don't you use PC financial, no-limited transaction time and personal chque. many local person in my company use that.
I already used that 2 months after my landing , very good for new immigrant.

no, I have never heard that, if you are sure your SIN # is correct, just call them. I also landed in 2004, so year doesn't matter.
