父母申请探亲成功，一点体会分享

今天母亲也顺利拿到签证，同样感谢坛子里的各位前辈。
母亲是亲自到大使馆签的，没有面谈，上午递材料，下午就拿到签证了。母亲这次过来时要参加老公的毕业典礼，下面是我们准备的材料，希望对有需要的朋友有帮助：
Document List
Part I: Document from the applicant
• Two Application forms (IMM5257B)
• “Family Composition / Education and Employment” form
• Four passport photos
• Passport of applicant
• Retirement certificate （including translation)
• Bank statement
• Residential property certificate
• Notarized relationship of the applicant and daughter
• Notarized relationship of the applicant’s daughter and son-in-law
• Two stickers with the mailing address
Part II: Document from the inviters
• Invitation letter
• Family members list
• True copies of permanent resident card of the inviters
• Copies of passports of the inviters
• Notice of Assessment of the inviter from CCRA for tax year 2004
• Bank statements
• Certification from University
• Certification from the office of the University Registrar
• Transcript in University

我们的邀请函是写给签证官的，严格按照大使馆的要求写的。因为我们的存款不多，写明费用主要由母亲承担，签证申请3个月。

我当时也怕被问到这个问题，告诉妈妈，就说老公父母年纪大了，身体不好。结果也没用上。

看来还是申请参加毕业典礼好,谢谢你,但是我老公的父母才55岁,比较年轻,不好回答了

当时只是收材料的人问了一句“为什么来加拿大”，回答“参加女婿的毕业典礼”，无他。
老公父母年纪轻没事啊，就说“家里有事不能来”。不过，只要你准备的材料齐全，应该不会问这么多的。
