how about they push me to sign a new contract with the new employer and cut my hourly rate? how about they just want me to train their people and dismiss me! there is all kind of concern and worry even i don't lose my job currently!

你可以拒绝签新合同，你可以与新东家在签合同前谈好工薪，这些都是你自己决定做与不做的，我想无论新老东家都不会逼迫你做的。只不过，他们利用了当前的经济形势，知道没有几个员工敢怎么样，开出了只对他们自己有利的合同条件。

唯一能做的事，合伙几个骨干一起拒绝签新合同，那就会可能造成这个买卖失败，因为新东家要有人来继续生产、开发等等（当然你必须确认少了你们几个，他们玩不转才行）。这样，新、老东家都要跟你们协商了。

不过,现在只是个通知性质的东西,还没有合同要签,只是担心新合同不利,或者过一段时间,新东家找人培训上岗,感我们走.离开我们玩不转是不存在的,可以下击败玩啊,现在这形式!我们没有工会,不会与我们谈什么,买卖绝对不会失败的!我想去读书了,不做了,如果合同很不好,工资福利下降的话,可不可以拒绝并做为申请EI的理由!我想拿EI,坦率的说,并借机会准备托福考试!

作为一个打工的，基本上没有影响，每次倒是给一点好处
可能会裁掉几个人，剩下的加工资。如果你真的有实力
就不用介入了，混饭的人肯定不满，千万别上当了

if the new employer cut your hourly rate, you can apply EI, no matter you get laid off or not. If you are not happy about any new changes against your original offer, you have right to apply EI. I am 100% sure you will get it. however, those changes must be real, not in your image.

根本说来是你自己想找个借口拿EI, 以公司重组为借口罢了.

我在这个公司五年了,早就是技术骨干,不舍得不愿意他就这样完了,他要重生进行重组,我也想啊,如果没有待遇保证,我也要去重生,拿EI是个好的开始!
