在国内操作有两个问题：

2。国内联结 Broker 的速度如何 ？

夏令时差12个小时，也就是中国晚上9：30开盘。只要不经常做daytrade就可以。
网速也可以，特别是不做daytrade的情况下。

I just opened an account from etrade couple days ago. The agent is Peter Wong.
He gave me: 100 free trade in 60 days, but it is not completely free, up to $26.99 rebate per trade. After 60 days, the commission fee is same as the fee as listed the etrade website.

加股up to 26.99，因此，我一笔单子拆成好几笔，比如，cll每1400为一个单位。
美股 10.99 flat rate。买美股最划算。

But Peter Wong told me if you buy same stock at same day, they will combine them, and therefore charge commission. Eg. if you buy cll 1400 shares in the morning, and buy another 1400 in the afternoon, they will treat it as you bought 1400X2 at one trade. Is that true?

我也有准备回国的打算,问一下:在国内也能连上这里的BROKER而进行操作吗?我上次听一朋友说,在国内很难连上这里的BROKER,因为国内会限制连国外的网站。即使是高速网，比蜗牛式的猫还慢。

我自己没试用过，但我叫我的朋友用我的账户使用了一下，td，汇丰，amretrade都可进入。也听说有人回国后用etrade。
你可请教一下本论坛的斑竹老李，他刚从中国回来。

On etrade website, it says the interest rate is 4.5% for CND, it is much higher than any bank interest rate. Why do we deposit money in the bank instead of etrade???

我的power etrade 可以用了，在家可以上，在单位因为防火墙的问题我还一时上不去。

系统要求我allow port 6080.不知道如何办？

First day use etrade, was tring to sell EXL at 1.01 X 5400, the price went to $1.01, but they did not sell my order. I never met this problem at TD waterhouse. How is you guys experience at etrade?

同样的价格，需要看你的单子的时间。如果在你前面有1000股的单子，但是只有1000股买单，你就卖不了。

如果价格在你挂单后，升到1.02，而你的单子1.01没有成交，可以找他们。

TD没有用过，但etrade比Actiondirect快。
