Hello Experts,

I am constantly having trouble with Windows Update. When I try to allow an update, specifically KB2544035, I am getting this stupid error from microsoft:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'epp.msi' in the box below.
I have found the downloaded exe file and unzipped it with winrar but then I select the epp.msi file and get another error:
C:\Users\......\MSEInstall\x86\epp.msi is not a valid installation package. Try to find 'epp.msi' in a folder from which you can install Microsoft Security Client.
When I cancel I get one more message:
The older version of Microsoft Security Client cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group.
So it looks like it was looking for the original epp.msi to uninstall the MSE.
If I go to control panels to uninstall MSE I get a similar message and so am unable to uninstall MSE.
This is like a virus installed by Microsoft. Microsoft cant find its own update files and cant find its own uninstall files.

So how can I get rid of MSE?
