从来觉得没有什么钱要做什么投资理财的，走到哪里，化到哪里，P都没剩。恍然间已经半截入黄土了，想想是不是该为下半辈子做点打算了。如果你跟我差不多，就在这里一起共勉吧。

银行里有点钱，怎么办？利息实在太低，总得干点什么吧。现在唯一知道的就是GIC，所以昨天先去银行，把一半钱先买了GIC，其它再研究。现在的利息还不错：今天在TD的美金3月GIC拿到4%

接下来就请他们帮我找个Finance Advisor，看看Mutual Fund，股票什么的。

谢谢！新来的，还不可以买买RRSP.房子对我们不合适，也接受不了在市场高时入场。接下来就准备买MF。听说加拿大的股票已经太高，准备买美国的，如何？

MF报税:
1. T3/T5按要求报。
2. 另外单独计算Capital Gain/Loss。我MF的Broker是CIBC，报税前收到MF的Statement，Capital Gain/Loss = Credit - Debit。


补充一下计算ABC的公试:ACB=

ACB=your initial investment + additional investments + reinvested distributions- any return of capital distributions - adjusted cost base of any previous redemptions.

其中return of capital distributions 是基金公司分摊给投资人来报税的CAPITAL GAIN,在收到的T3中的BOX 42就是这一项.

建议大家还是在每次派息时自己计算一下ACB存档.当投资股票或MFUNITS转让给配偶时,根据ROLLOVER的原理,这种原始ACB的存档尤其重要.BROKER提供的数据有可能在转让时丢失或变化.

If you own mutual funds and you automatically reinvest the income you earn each year, don.t forget to take this into account when you sell the fund and calculate your capital gain or loss. For example, if you invested $1,000 in a mutual fund, and then sold it for $2,000, it may appear as though your capital gain is $1,000. However, if you have reinvested $400 income from the fund, your capital gain is only $600. This is because your total investment is really $1,400 (the original $1,000 plus the reinvested income). You already paid tax on the $400; if you forget about it when calculating your capital gain, you will end up paying tax on it twice!

I know this issue had been a common sense for a lot experience investors but some people are still massing up on this matter. My friend is filing a ajustament return to get money back!!!

1、投资总是有风险，但最大的风险是不投资。
2、投资GIC是次大风险，去除年平均5％的通涨，你的回报是负的。
3、投资股市最安全，北美股市从诞生到现在任何一个10年段的回报都是正的，所以只要你持股足够长，股价现在的高低不是问题，但一定要是优质公司。
4、要学会借钱生钱，靠工作攒钱投资永远发不了财。
仅供参考。如果投资无风险，银行就会不存在，因为人人都去投资了，如果投资只有风险无回报，股市就会不存在，人人都去存钱了，这是投资辩证法，就看你如何去掌握那个度了。

提醒专做Contractor的同学们一定要Incorpate($700~800 one time)，然后再请专业的会计师做帐($700~800/per year)。我刚来时不知道，今年报税下来吃了大亏。

注册Incorprated的公司费用大概是$700~800，注册一个Business(Solo/无限公司？)的费用是$80。Inc.公司收入算公司，交公司税18%，然后给自己发多少薪水可以控制。Solo公司收入算个人，交个人税，超过7万1就是36%。
