How to take money to Canada ?

How to bring mony to Canada ?
1. I remember there are some poster here discussing it, but I cann't find them, could you tell me about it ?
2. Some my friends suggested me bringing money in person, but other friends told me it's too danger to take money.

Do you have some good idea about it ?
Please help !

So many choices: cash, traveller's cheque, credit card, debit card, westunion...., it seems first time for u to go abroad hehe
