不太清楚what you guys are talking about...I'm using KBox and ViewSat now and am basicly happy about the combination...though not very excited.
Kbox: English Channel / CCTV4 in the living room
Viewsat: CCTV4 in the master bed room

Though currently there is still no movie channels yet but the above combination is acceptable to me and I don't think it is necessary to go Rogers or Shaw.

我还素不懂。免费频道由几个？是不是100号都是广告的？不好意思啊，我好几年没看电视了，家里电视是给我们爷爷看的。

为了让姐姐免于倒下， here is my solution:

1. use two dishes one is 33' another is 18'
2. point 33' to 95W using a linear LNB
3. point 18' to 110 and 119 using two circular LNBs
4. ViewSat is able to recieve CCTV4, CCTV9 and another two CCTV channels. These are unencripted, no bin file is needed. CCTV channels are not very entertaining but it broadcasts all the key events of China so I'm happy to have it.
5. KBox can receive CCTV's and also channels from 110/119 if it works. Most of my TV time is spent on watching CNN which is good enough for news

多说句KBOX现在能看CCTV4？为虾米大家说不能看中文台。

In the Satellite world, there are multiple satellites that carry CCTV4. If you point your dish to 95W then your KBOX can receive CCTV4 all the time no matter what KBox server's status is. In addition to 95W, 118.7 also carries CCTV4 and a lot more Chinese channels but all of them are encripted. So if KBox server works well then your KBox will be able to receive all these chinese channel. If KBox server is down, your will receive nothing.

For now KBox has been working for several weeks with a limited number of channels. Unfortunately these working channels do not include any Chinese one.

If you still don't understand, please do not fall down...you may have to hire some FTA professional to get your system installed.

最近敌人对我们的2代接收机产生疯狂轰炸，许多同志打了退堂鼓，对我们的事业有了动摇，觉得太折腾了。

我的几点看法，玩接收机其实不只是看电视本身，其实就像恋爱就是生孩子本身一样。玩的是个过程。Down就Down，要有持久抗战的准备。原理上卫星和接收机不能双向认证，破解是迟早的事。

其实就是中...

说的好，要持久战，不能随便就投降当叛徒。
