Good private school has very longer waiting list, one what my kids plan to register need almost 2 years to wait, it is really tough to send them to go...

For many oil guys like you, I know the privates schools are not enough.

However, few asian students are in private schools even if their parents are very rich. You are just an exception.

蒙特梭瑞其实只适合上到 3/4年级的。 他的教育理念和方法，会造成学生的偏科问题的。

私立学校其实没有想象的贵，中国学生（中港台）的也不能算极少数，私立学校的好处其实是 讲究多元文化，学校对学生的要求和活动比较多，观察比较仔细， 家长基本不用担心 近些年来很多学校发生的暴力事件。

西边的两所Webber和Rundle College都很好。你的孩子多大了？早点去报名总是好的。

Rundle College 四年级会增加两个班，也就是28个名额。这事比较容易进去，无需考试。七年级也会增加两个班，但要考SSAT. 如果想知道更详细的，和admission officer约个时间，参观一下校园，问问题都可以。

我们一出生就排队，排了个168号，等了5年说只收68个学生。。。

好不容易有机会面试了，还是最好的老师面试，最后一定要要她去。TLC都报了名，买了衣服了。老大读书很努力，每次做完测试不但100%而且还要画一幅画上去，涂上颜色（全校就她一个这么玩得，后来她妈做义工才看到所有孩子的测试卷），每天有奖品带回家给妹妹玩，还拿了principal award，。可是很多homework，我都做不了，还有presentation, speech.
说这个老师只教幼儿园，玩了，上完一年，我们又得找。

本来来这里是为了孩子轻松些，我们轻松些，反倒比国内更累了。

TLC就是charter schools。我知道的有4个：westmount，FFCA, Calgary Science School, Calgary Girl's school

好像不太对吧。 TLC是一种教学方式， charter schools是under Provincial 的学校。

Westmount 是Gifted Education， 不是TLC。

FFCA 用TLC教学方式。 CBE在全城也有很多公立TLC。

Calgary Science School, Calgary Girl's school 用什么教学方式偶就不知道了。

TLC到底是CEB的一个学校的PROGRAM? 还是CBE的 TLC SHCOOL（整个学校全是tlc)? 我还是没明白。。。


还有ffca和tlc到底有何区别？
