新房现在去银行谈mortgage 有必要吗?
买了新房,明年5月closing, 现在是不是就去银行把mortgage谈好呀?

新房利率可以hold UP TO 22 MONTHS, YOU CAN ASK THE BANK TO GET PRE APPROVAL AND KEEP lower rate if the interest is going up this year.

Normal approach
1. First ask banker to do a pre-approval and lock with a proper rate with long holding rate. 2. When it is 4 months away from closing date, shopping the mortgage broker to find the best rate for you. Some broker has amazing rate for you. Also, you can send email to me to add you on the latest mortgage rate monitoring group, so you get the latest best rate updated. Hope it helps! |
