Regardless of the heat, we enjoyed the session very much! It's really one heck of an audiophile amp! Before visiting yours, I kept drooling over this at Youtube.

Thanks, other than the tonal balance, I think it's around two level better than ARC vs110

the size of violin and other instruments are more convincing.

Imaging, bass definition, resolution are also better.

I feel more openess is needed, however music is now very mellow and non-fatigue, no urge to change anything.

弄了半天，还是Kimber 1116好，平衡相比单端，音乐轮廓更加清晰，高低连贯性也很好,很后悔把它卖了。

我这条银线用来听人声和器乐还是不行,看来不能要

你这ultimate cable silver不也是平衡的吗？
我迟些会DIY一些单端RCA，用Mogami／Gotham之类的mic cable（专业录音室用的）。有兴趣的话可以拿去做比较。

我是指kimber平衡对比单端,kimber的单端有点过于顺滑,缺少了音符的leading edge(不知怎么翻译)

银线听Chris Botti的小号还是不好

我还把我的Bryston 2B 的平衡输入去掉了，一块小板，数了数一共6个transistors, 10+电阻和几个电容，是作为平衡到单端的转换，估计平衡输出端又是一堆零件把单端转平衡。

这模拟信号转来转去的，比不转直接单对单会“音乐轮廓更加清晰，高低连贯性也很好”？？？除非这信号线真的很长！

hoho, DAC2有平衡输出,modwright kwa-150是平衡输入,没有赚来赚去阿

最近“赚”了？

声音信号处理都是单端的，因为要远距传输，所以转成平衡信号，在接收端再把平衡转单端进行放大或者什么。

Youtube is pretty amazing! Not only you drool over stuff you can't get, you learn a thing or two as well.

Thanks to Youtube. I just got one door (master bedroom) changed to solid core and I worked on it myself with all the cutting and drilling. The original door is a cheap builder grade hollow core. Solid core has better sound proof due to the density. I still need to work on the sealing. Then I can really crank up the volume and no one inside will complain!

I need to fix the door to coldroom, may ask you for some advise as you know how to deal with doors now

That door is very heavy, solid core I believe, I have trouble closing it, and all 3 screws are loose, I tried to tighten it but the holes are loose and big too, so no matter how much you tighten it, it's still loose. not sure what to do next...

Fix the big holes with some anchors, should be tight enough to grab the screws.
Or use bigger (diameter) and a bit longer screws

Need a amp designed as "Fully balanced input to output" to avoid the conversion inside amplifier.

Anchor is the most straight forward. But you may not find an anchor size small enough to fit into existing hole, so you need to drill the hole making it a bit bigger (not too big to loose grab of the anchor, it should be tight enough that you need to hammer it in).
