since the review, the MSRP has increased to $6995.

Right now starting price of reference level component CD/PREAMP/AMP/SPEAKER are over $10k, very ridiculous.

入门reference level一套4万，算都买2手，砍掉一半的价，还得2万，厉害

KWA150不错，和你的ProAc配的挺好的，就是觉得铜线其实比银线更平衡些，我的耳朵大概和你不一样，听了几次银线都觉得有点太偏高频了.

with laoguang's speakers, yes

with my speakers mostly no, the modwright/proac combo are on the dark side, the kwa amp is not as lively as ARC one, might need a preamp to correct the tonal balance.

The copper can make me sleeps sometimes, but great for solo/vocal.

Hugo knows why, it was bought to used for pro speakers, they are speaker wires!!!

Agreed. But for interconnecting source and amp, isn't shorter = better? Or it doesn't make any difference if it's not any longer than say 10 meters?

据说是平衡传输的电平高，抗干扰，10米根本就不算什么。

欧洲的东西评测的比较少,估计和口味有关

话说回来,Cello, Jeff rowland最近也没有什么hi-fi, hi-end产品吧

如果不推陈出新,会被音响杂志遗忘的

TAS的惯例是所有评测的东东都会有Editor's Choice!!! 话虽如此,没点Quality也上不去.

至于10 most something ... 就见仁见智了

如Hugo所说,平衡线影响不是太大. 但是太长会增加电阻和电容

线材都是按长度计费,如果是我自己买,不会超过一米.

平衡线不清楚，不过按照一般的说法，RCA线的长度最佳是4－6‘，不超过2米，不短过一米。
你的功放太娇气了，老要降温休息。觉得不如Hugo以前那台。

ModWright有thermal protection circuit。过热的话应该会自己关机。
你的basement有没拉上dedicated circuit？这台应该独占一条15A/20A效果会更好。

I know, that is the situation I don't want to see.

I knew the audition will take more than 6 hours, a regular break for each 1.5 hour was designed to avoid such overheat issue.

Good suggetion for the dedicated circuit, at the time being I am just too tired and just want to listen to music.
