my emission will expire tomorrow. can i do emission test next week?

原则上, 只要你在更新牌照的时候提供合法的尾气监测报告就可以了. 什么时候去做完全取决于你自己.

Freedom: i bought my car two years ago, the dealer did the emission test for me on dec. 31, 2002. So after two years, should i do it again imediately now? or just do it at any time in the next few months or years when i sell my car to another person?

当你需要更换vehicle licence时，你会同时得到要你去做emission test的通知，如果你不做或过不了，你就得不到那个sticker. 你不必急着去做，除非你接到通知。
