1.go to any TD bank branch to open both US$ and CAD account,(or do it online ,but it will take much longer time to wait)then you can logon the website www.td.com / easyweb link, click on 'make a transfer-&gt;foreign exchange'.that's it.BTW,u can check the exchange rate at www.dailyfx.com -&gt;realtime charts at anytime u like, then make a decision to do the exchange on TD online.

this weekend the us/cad exrate is 1.3335( www.xe.com ),u can trade with TD online at 1.3247.

i went to TD yesterday and tried to open an account. the consultant said the exchange rete varied depend on the amount of money.

for example, when the rate of market was 1.335, he gave me around 1.315-1.319(500$-10000$).

does TDonline work in same way ? or in fixed rate no matter how much do you exchange?

not like that.
the difference between TDonline and the ex-market is only around 0.009(90 pips),and it is always changing with the ex-market.
