想去北极圈兄弟姐妹们，你们准备好背包了吗？
一直梦想着有一天能驱车穿越北极圈，欣赏北极光，把脚伸进北冰洋，感受一下彻骨的寒冷与刺激。 现在终于想付诸行动，把梦想变成现实。 有人愿意一起去嘛？ 简单计划如下： 路线和距离： 空中飞行：多伦多--温哥华--whitehorse（白马）或多伦多直飞到白马。从多伦多飞，大约7-8小时，从温哥华到白马约2.5小时。多伦多的朋友可以在多伦多集合，其它各地朋友可以在白马会合。 陆地驾车：Whitehorse―Inuvik ， 地图上标的距离是1216km左右。从Inuvik 到Tuktoyaktuk 没路，可搭乘当地的飞机，直线距离137km。 时间: 3月21日到3月30日， 考虑到路面情况和玩儿的尽兴，从whitehorse―Inuvik―Tuktoyaktuk ―Inuvik-- whitehorse 要一星期左右。 费用： 飞机：多伦多--温哥华--白马往返约CAD$800/人，（Aircanada） 温哥华---白马往返约CAD$500/人 （Aircanada） 租车： 白马机场：300-350/周 （Ford SUV）, 限1500km, 超额20 cent/km 加上保险，油耗，税，估计一辆车费用在CAD$ 1000-1200。 （因为由温哥华到白马驾驶距离为2386km, 往返近5000km, 所以不建议从温哥华租车） 食宿：暂不清楚， 估计平均每人每天CAD$50--80。 气温：根据历史纪录， 三月下旬 -15――-25C。 要求：飞机票自理， 如果人数够多的话，可以考虑定团体票，租车的费用均摊， 不能带小孩儿。 另外，这种活动比较危险，在那儿不可能有手机信号，所以希望有人能够提供对讲机，有GPS更好。 有兴趣的朋友可以写Email到dongdongcatuk@yahoo.co.uk 请留下姓名，现居住地，是否能开车，联系方式，最好是电话。 可参考 连接http://chinasmile.infopop.net/0/Open...5&m=7260906895 更多信息可参考以下网站： http://www.expedia.ca http://canadaonline.about.com/gi/dyn...map_of_nwt.htm http://www.yukoninfo.com/inuvik/tuktoyaktuk.htm http://www.gov.nt.ca/Transportation/index.html |

I'm in Yellowknife, and weather permitting we see them frequently. Ice roads should still be running, especially that far north. Learn something new everyday, had no idea there was an Inuvik-Tuk winter road. Have a great trip! 第二个，有人这条路走过很多次： I have driven this route many times and I think it is one of the most spectacular drives you'll ever do - especially at that time of year. Yes, you can rent a vehicle in Whitehorse, but be prepared - it won't come cheaply. You will definately want 4WD. A few tips: Before driving this route I would suggest you be very comfortable with driving on ice and snow. Check to make sure the vehicle has really good tires (like Wranglers), and a good spare. Make sure you fill up with fuel at "The Corners" before you head up the Dempster. You'll have to stay overnight in Eagle Plains and re-fuel there (again not cheap) You'll need a very good pair of DARK sunglasses and some very warm clothes (avoid cotton). Make sure you have survival equipment with you eg. good sleeping bag, candles, food etc. You won't meet many other vehicles on the road, so you should be prepared to handle "problems" should they arise. Check the road conditions before you leave "The Corners" and Eagle Plains. It is not uncommon for the road to be closed for several days at a time because of weather, so make sure you leave a few days of cushion in your planning. The section north of Eagle Plains seems to be especially bad for this. The weather can/will be very different on the Dempster than in Whitehorse so don't let Whitehorse deceive you. I was once in Whitehorse in March and they had a bit of a warm spell. People were working outside in t-shirts. By the time I reached the section of the Dempster north of Eagle Plains, it was a full blown blizzard with high winds, blowing snow, and temperatures around -40. Wind chills had to be -50 or more. Unfortunately, we got a flat tire here (not uncommon on the Dempster) and had to put on all our warm gear to get out and change the tire. Once in Inuvik, check that the ice road is open before heading out. Again, it can be closed if the weather in Tuk or up on the Beaufort Sea is bad. Hope this helpful. ENJOY!!! P.S.
