挨踢,保险/金融业,水管工,房屋经纪,餐饮业(老板和打工),日杂店(老板和打工),国际贸易(进出口额上千万和几万),工厂工(不同行业),大的百货店的杂员(老外的店),搬家接送,电脑店(老板和打工),会计师,律师,银行职员,老外公司白领雇员(会计部门),教授钢琴/绘画,驾驶教练...

How about librarians? We aren't really well paid, but can make enough to support a family. I think it's good for women who want to find a balance between career and family.

For a part time librarian the rate in Vancouver is about $22/hr. I guess it's a little bit more in Toronto. For a full time librarian, it depends on the type of his/her library. The minimum salary for a York University librarian is the middle 50s. In Toronto Public Library, it about 43k.

It depends on your qualifications and background. The job market is getting better since the baby boomers are retiring.

It's really exhausting to brainwash yourself day after day, especially when you are near your 40s. The only reward is that you can catch your children.
