是个在ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT 里的初级的ADMINISTRATION 的职位。工资不高，但是作为入门的工作应该还是可以的。应该是家大公司，小公司一般没有这个职位。

Position: Document Control Specialist (Engineering)

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Location: Vaughan, On

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000


Responsibilities:

· Position reports to the NPI Manager

· The Document Control Specialist will provide engineering data and document control management and support for all engineering change orders (ECO) and ensure the accuracy of all the data, BOMs and documentations in the PLM system.

· Examine BOMs, drawings, rework documentations, technical data and any other ECO related documents to verify completeness, correctness

· Work with ECO originator to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to any document under an ECO if needed

· Ensure all changes in an ECO are validated before its released

· Ensure that ECOs are approved and released in a timely manner

· Distribute ECOs to all Contract Manufacturing and notify affected departments to analyze impact (material disposition, process sheets update, etc) and ensure closure of any items related to them

· Work with Contract Manufacturing on the closure of any ECO related items and ensure implementation

· Maintain ECO management tracker and provide weekly update on the status of the outstanding and released ECOs

Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

· Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering Document Control function in the electronics design and manufacturing field

· Experience with PLM tools. Omnify experience is preferred but not a must

· Ability to read & analyze engineering technical data

· Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor communications to the relevant audience

· Strong attention to details

· Must be self motivated and be able to work in a team environment
