Question for Income tax: Line 305 Amt fo

Based on what I read on the guide it seems that for parents living with me (I'm married and lived with my spouse). I can only claim Line 315 for caregiver amount but not the Line 305 dependent amount.

I cannot claim the Line 305 Dependent amount as I'm living with my spouse. It seems that only if you are single, or a single mom or dad can claim it. Here is the quote from the Guide" You did not have a spouse or common-law partner or, if you did, you were not living with, supporting , or being supported by that person."

Correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks

Sorry my question is not clear.
My situation: I'm married and live with my spouse. I also live with my parents(both are immigrants)who were born in 1935. Could I claim both Line 305(dependent) and Line 316(caregiver)? Or I just can claim Line 305 as I'm not divorced?

you can claim caregiver only. you can not claim dependent.
