I followed instructions and input activation code 417 6432 8825 but I got message "Invalid key"

The quicktax 2005 crack (2006.1.16) Volume ID=18D7-5FED.exe can NOT even read qt2005.exe in the same directory. Even tried both qt2005d_16Jan2006.exe and qt2005d_21Dec2005.exe at http://ftp2.quicken.com/pub/canada/quicktax/products/ but still no luck.

What a waste of time!

when you open the quicktax2005 crack file, there is a key with three dots, click on that key and select the directory where the qt2005.exe located, not QUICKTAX 2005, that is a shortcut.

俺还是用不了。总是提示"Invalid Key". 大家看看你们的Computer Key 是不是 514-047-786-2033 ？ 我怀疑俺的volumeID没有运行对。

VOLUMEID的用法要加上C:，即VOLUMEID C: ...这样才能把ID改成功。

After I resintalled Quick Tax 2005 and did the exactly the same what I did last night. The crack program recognizes qt2005.exe this time for some reason all of a suddden.

VOLUMEID的用法要加上C:，即VOLUMEID C: ...这样才能把ID改成功。

你都不知道实际情况。。。。
我的硬盘比较大，分了很多分区。我想装在N：盘上，于是我运行VOLUMEID N: 18D7-5FED. VOLUMEID命令本身是运行成功的。但是我的QUICKTAX不工作。所以在我上面的帖子里，问大家的Computer Key是多少，因为我相信那个Computer Key就是根据VOLUMEID算出来的。如果有人告诉我能够运行的QUICKTAX的Computer Key和我的不一样，那就是VOLUMEID没有改对。
不过我自己搞定了。给后来人一个提醒。就算你要把QUICK TAX装在其他盘，比如D:,E:,F:....运行VOLUMEID需要转换的盘符是你系统所在的盘符,不是QUICK TAX要安装的盘符。
另外，这个破解很不好。没有办法live update.因为这个破解动了qt2005.exe,当它需要更新时，它会说文件size不对，拒绝更新。。。。。

是啊，这就是为什么我还没有正式安装的原因，我只是在虚拟机里安装了看看是不是破解成功。事实上破解是成功的，但是因为现在这个版本还没有NETFILE功能，等INTUIT出了升级补丁，估计还需要再破解。

我在E盘装了，结果激活失败。卸掉重装在c盘后，一切正常。就等着１月１３号以后更新netfile然后等T4了。多谢各位。

1) Change hard drive volume ID into 18D7-5FED

2) You MUST reboot after you change the volume ID.

3) Install Quicktax 2005 with installation key 151 7357 375 0600

4) Finish installation, do NOT open the program.

5) Use the quicktax 2005 crack (2006.1.1) Volume ID=18D7-5FED.exe file -
place the crack into the same directory as the qt2005.exe file, then run it.

6) DISCONNECT YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION.

7) Open Quicktax 2005. Enter the activation key 417 6432 8825.

8) Shut down your computer, reconnect your internet connection, turn computer on.

有个问题，在使用easystep的时候，看不到页面，只是html的代码，
