CPP = gross pay x 4.95% (max. $2,049.30) Total CPP needs to be remitted = the above amount x 2 As for how much tax to deduct. It depend. In theroy, as long as you remit more than your personal tax payable is good enough. If you use the CRA website to do the calculation. Just pick the 12 month one and enter the gross pay/12month.
