就是在超市里做摆东西之类的事情，occupation是什么？另外，要多少钱比较合适？谢谢！

Here is one post on workopolis. At Future Shop our Merchandisers work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where no day is exactly the same and the opportunities are yours for the making. As a Merchandiser you will use your outstanding organizational skills to merchandise, tag, sign, price & secure products in the store (excluding Entertainment) as per store planograms & company inventory & merchandising SOP. This will include replenishing products & performing down/up stocking activities to ensure products are available to customers in store; conducting cycle counts & reconciling variances to ensure data integrity. This role will also greet customers & respond to general customer inquiries & refer to applicable department's Sales Assistant for appropriate service; ship & receive merchandise to & from store as per company SOP, including drop shipments & home deliveries; maintain warehouse & security cage as per company standards; operate store equipment to move products as per required safety standards; & prepare & maintain complete documentation & records of product movements. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Experience: This role requires 1-2 years sales, merchandising or customer service experience in big box retail. Previous merchandising experience is preferred. Education: High school diploma is required. |

In retail industry, buyer is the person decide vendor sourcing and product selection. Purchaser or inventory analyst /planner place orders and responsible for reorder products, manage inventory. Expeditor is in charge of logistics and expedites orders. Merchandiser display products on shelf. That's my understanding of these roles. Usually they are in buying department or merchandising department. Merchandiser works in local stores. Others usually work in headoffice. Of course, the exact job duties depend on the company you working at.
