求助:CONDO管理公司要求我支付额外的费用
5年前买了CONDO,在多伦多, 1卧室1书房1卫生间,第二年有了小孩,一家三口住了4年,今年父母来探亲,和我们一起住了将近3个月,昨天收到管理公司的信,内容如下: It has come to our attention that there are currently 5 persons residing in your unit. As you are aware, the occupancy standard adopted by unit owners through the Corporation`s By-laws for your unit is 2 persons. As a result you are in violation of the said By-law, therefore you are required to pay an additional monthly amount of $60.36 for each person in excess of the maximum allowed. In the case of your unit an additional amount of $181.08 per month is due for May and June 2012. Please issue a one time payment of 724.32 to cover the months of May through to August 31, 2012 and post-dated cheques from September 1, 2012 up to and including June 1, 2013 each in the amount of $181.08. The Corporation has a duty to enforce its By-laws. failure to make monthly payments as stated above could result in a lien being registered against your unit or other legal action as deemed necessary. 请教有经验的前辈们,这种情况是否应该按它的要求支付?还是可以跟管理公司协商解决? 一直以为管理费是按房间大小来算的,今天才知道还要按常住人口来算,不知道是不是事实? 先谢谢了! |
